This week we join the national week of observances started by Dr. Mindy Fullilove to mark the 400th Anniversary of the arrival in 1619 at Jamestown of the first Africans to be sold into bondage. We come together to remember, and to refuse to reproduce structures of dehumanization, exploitation, oppression and inequity. Join us at Co.act in Detroit with special guests:
Jamon Jordan, Black Scroll Network
Lauren Hood, Deep Dive Detroit
