Join us in the parlor with the indomitable Candice Fortman of WDET. Candice has a passion for media, women and Detroit, and she’s not afraid to let you know. She is a multi-media storyteller who explores the world around her through humor with a heavy cup of humanity.

As Marketing & Engagement Manager for WDET 101.9, Detroit's NPR station, Candice leads the development and execution of engagement and marketing strategy to build WDET's audience, grow the stations online communities and engage listeners. Prior to joining in 2015, Candice served as Promotions Manager for the Clear Channel (iHeart Media) owned stations WKQI-FM, WMXD-FM and WNIC-FM.

As someone deeply in love with Detroit, Candice is a proud resident of the Grandmont community where she currently serves as board secretary.
