PARLOR TALK: CHASE L. CANTRELL

What is the State of Our Black City? What role should Detroit play as a national model for black culture, investment, development, and thought? Join us in the parlor for a special talk by Chase L. Cantrell, founder of Building Community Value and host of the Consulate's Detroit parlor talks since 2016.

Cantrell is a transactional attorney, a 2017 Knight Cities Challenge Winner, a Salzburg Global Forum Cultural Innovator, and was once named by Huffington Post as a Black Millennial to Watch. Born & raised in the city of Detroit, he has a deep commitment to creating platforms for sustainable social and economic development to improve the lives of Detroiters. Cantrell has also lived & studied in Paris, France; Ottawa, Canada; and Montréal, Canada. He currently resides in Northwest Detroit.
